Assist with light daily living including but not limited to:

  • Light Housekeeping – including but not limited to vacuuming, dusting, dry mopping, dishwashing, cleaning the kitchen and bathroom, and changing beds
  • Laundry and linen service to include washing, ironing, and folding clothes
  • Prepare meals and snacks according to the care plan – this may include following a specialized diet plan as identified on the care plan.
  • Shopping service to clients for groceries and clothes
  • Incidental transportation for clients includes visits to doctor appointments, friends, family members, or stores.
  • Monitor client supplies.
  • Observe and report changes in the client’s physical condition, behavior, or appearance.
  • Follow a written care plan and maintain records of daily activities.
  • Escort clients on appointments (requires pre-approval).
  • Provide companionship for the clients. Companionship includes accompanying the client on walks, trips to social/recreational activities, and assistance with hobbies.
