Assist with light daily living including but not limited to:
- Light Housekeeping – including but not limited to vacuuming, dusting, dry mopping, dishwashing, cleaning the kitchen and bathroom, and changing beds
- Laundry and linen service to include washing, ironing, and folding clothes
- Prepare meals and snacks according to the care plan – this may include following a specialized diet plan as identified on the care plan.
- Shopping service to clients for groceries and clothes
- Incidental transportation for clients includes visits to doctor appointments, friends, family members, or stores.
- Monitor client supplies.
- Observe and report changes in the client’s physical condition, behavior, or appearance.
- Follow a written care plan and maintain records of daily activities.
- Escort clients on appointments (requires pre-approval).
- Provide companionship for the clients. Companionship includes accompanying the client on walks, trips to social/recreational activities, and assistance with hobbies.
